History

The John Yancey Inn has been in operation on the Outer Banks since 1972. We provide one of the most experienced staffs on the Outer Banks and are happy make your stay on the Outer Banks more enjoyable. We strive to provide a relaxed resort hotel environment for families and couples. Our most recent renovation was in Winter 2008, when the entire Main Building and Sea Building were completely renovated.
